'12 NC OT D.J. Humphries

i can call him a vol right now and be fine we got a top 5 class already we str8 fellas plus we can take all the fla olinemen who been leans and still pull in a A1 class

So why has DJ visited UT so much, and visited uf so little? I'm not sure I have ever heard the gators take on that..from what I've collected, hes been here several times this year, and to uf one time since the new staff has been there..

I think his parents have continued to push him to UT, and eventually the parents and our coaching staff won him over.

What source do the gator mods have? Skeeter works with the coaches and sees them everyday. If the gator mods have a course similar then ok. But if not... No contest on who wins out.

I think BB23 is getting that from statements like these earlier.

"In order, they are Florida, Tennessee, Auburn, South Carolina, and Clemson," the 6'5", 265-pound Humphries told Mike Farrell of Rivals.com. "I've done a lot of research on these schools, visited each one, and have a good feeling about each. I planned to get it down to around five by the end of the summer, and I'm happy with these choices."

So old post from beginning of summer!

so what you are saying in a roundabout way is that a lot of your happiness rides on us being around.... let us know when you want to join us!
Anyone who calls themself "BOI" in any combination is not welcome in my world. JMHO

Read the following in the movie preview voice.

"Coming August 5th, DJ Humphries will make the biggest decision... of his life. Skeeter insists he's a Vol, but the gators and the negavols insist he is a gator. His trainer and HS coach want him to join the dark side, but CCH and CDD look to 'save the day.' Will he join the evil empire of the Gators... or will UT prevail in bringing him into the light? Find out on August 5th!"

:eek:lol: this thread hell the whole place will be hilarious if he's a gator

with all the faith put into ol skeeter

The danger with someone like Skeeter is that he can report things that are true... people will draw conclusions... then for whatever reason it turned out to be untrue.

I have no question the coaches thought as Skeeter reported that the LB from Ky was going to sign with UT. The kid himself may have thought that before O's visit. In the end, he went to USC.

I am sure that DJ has said things that led to the positive outlook by UT coaches. I do not know that he is being completely truthful or may is as "solid" as he led them to believe. It is hard for a kid that age to not try to give people they like a "better version." Maybe he said it and then started feeling pressure from his trainer that pushed him back to the dark side.

The only thing I see we can take from all this is that he seems to be torn and that we will know when he decides to announce... which may not even be 8/5.
