'12 NC OT D.J. Humphries

Lol. Unlike you (assuming here) and I Pace is currently unemployed and has all the time he needs to devote to his passion.

He may want to get out a little more often. It could help that sunny viewpoint of his.

Oh well, we all have those days.

one of the staff guys running the gator 247 site seem to think he's a gator too

I have actually seen this at more than one place too. I don't know what to believe anymore but i feel a little more confident then I did, but I have ZERO idea right now what will happen.

It would be a huge loss not getting Humphries. For starters it would mean we lost out on the #3 player in the country, but it also means one of our biggest rivals DID get the #3 player in the country. It stings in two different ways.

I Don't believe anything coming from any Gator or auburn board.

I have no clue where he's going to go, but, if you ask rival fans why they come to a UT recruiting site, the universal answer is that they get more and better information here than on their own sites.

This. I think both coaching staffs like their chances with him. So when the Mods get in touch with them, they will give a favorable answer. We'll just have to see

Agree. At this point I'm plugging my ears and humming to myself at any chatter saying he won't be a Vol.

If he chooses UF, I can then take my irrational anger and finally bench press 300 pounds. Win/win.

really dont think either side should consider this a done deal

but im nobody i just go off info i can find

I was about to make that point. Even if what people currently "know" on either side is true... the kid could still change his mind.

If I were in his shoes, I would not choose UF. For all the talent the Gators have brought in on the OL, you've put relatively few in the NFL. I know the switch to pro style will help with that but the recent history isn't that great. Alot of guys seem to wash out recently in G'ville too. UF has done a good job winning on NSD... so how can you be thin in talent on the OL or DL?

As bad as it has been in K'ville... the Vols have continued to put OL's into the NFL.

Because the "wealth of talent and depth" that UF has signed the last 5 years is a myth, but somehow keeps getting passed down. We have 71 kids on scholly right now, and only 4 are DT's. When you have kids who listen to the lies of rival coaches about "you will never play at Florida" or kids leaving early for the draft (Moss, Harvey, Dunlop, Cunningham) just to name a few, it happens.........

We have nowhere near the depth on the lines people want to believe.
