ive only been following recruiting since late 08. When was the last time Tenn had a 5 star commit before the season even started.

Not to be a "debbie downer" but don't you think you guys are popping the corks just a LITTLE early on this? He hasn't even verbally committed and you guys act like he's already signed his LOI. I'm just sayin' don't set yourself up for such a let down. :hi:

We like to live on the edge. A letdown or two is just part of the ride. Some can handle it, others can't. No shame in not following recruiting. But if you do, buckle up...

Sorry so late to the party.

IMO Humphries is a Vol & has wanted to be one for a while. Tennessee has all the factors in their favor minus Mo Collins (proximity to home, Hiestands resume, PT). Now w/ the news that his parents are wanting him close to home it really pushed UT over the top.

I think Humphries has genuine interest in UF but that Mo Collins was playing a big factor in that.

Also sorry if this has already been mentioned but it is'nt coincidence that the same night Skeeter says Humphries all but committed to Hiestand that Humphries said he was'nt talking to the media until he announced. He is going silent.

No matter who he chooses in 8/5 it wont be over w/ until he gets to a campus.

There were rumors on VQ that Humphries was in town right now. Austin Price squashed them. He said DJ told him he wasn't in town. Funny how he shut down the media but the VQ staff can still get a comment....

Shutting down his recruitment and won't be taking an calls or interviews, but VQ writer Ausin Price can sure seem to get ahold of him...

With the visit this weekend, I think that brings it to 6 times. He definitely has everyone on pins and needles ATP. August can't get here fast enough now...

IMO It's over the team he picks on the 5th is the team. DJ will shut it down. Most Dooley's commits are solid. It's his style of recruiting.
