Not Waco, imo isn't not over but Muschamp has put so much effort into DJ at the cost of kids like Pat Miller, who would have jumped on a chance to commit earlier in the summer. Missing hurt bc he's an EE.

Just me, I don't want to know skeeter's identity and think it's better that we just know skeeter as skeeter. Probably better that way. :hi:

I bet skeeter gets 1000 PMs from random people saying, "skeeter, you can tell me man, I promise I won't tell, how are we doing with XXXX recruit? What's going on with YYYY recruit? Thanks, man. I'll keep it between us."

To each their own but I'd rather not spend too much time trying to figure out who Skeeter is. Once his cover is blown, you'll never see him post here again. I, for one, don't want to run off one of the most, if not the most knowledgeable poster on VN. Just a thought. Carry on.

Yeah, it is to me. I am sure we will keep recruiting him, but the odds are not in our favor.

I say just move on and try to salvage an OL class with Miller or Evan Goodman imo.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed in him not sealing the deal with a top target, but it is what it is.

I wouldn't count the Gators out yet. He liked them for so long and visted so much that theres always a chance. Being a college athlete, I can tell you that distance is a huge factor if you want your parents to see you play. Especially if they don't have jobs that would allow them time to drive down on friday for a saturday game or have the money to fly. But if you can leave SC Saturday morning and get to Knoxville 2 hrs before kick off, then thats a huge draw.

IMO 80% Vol, 20% Gator

Consider this a lesson learned when you put all your eggs in the big fish basket, only to miss the big fish.

This goes to some of the discussion that occurs ont his board with 4 and 5 star recruits. Sometimes you get burned and then miss out on other kids who wanted in, and your stuck with nothing.

Now you sound like a Vol fan. If Humphries does end up coming to UT, it is a hit but I wouldn't call what Muschamp is putting together as "reeling."

I mean everyone assumed he was a Gator, including most Vol fans imo.

Our class is ok right now, we just don't have very many skill players.

One time, I tried on a pair of shorts at a thrift store. They didn't quite fit, but they had $10 in the pocket. I took that $10 and was happy. I didn't get frantic trying to figure out who donated the shorts or announce it to the entire store.

Treat the Skeet the same.
