Oh, yeah, because we didn't land any talented players in the last class at all. That's why the class was ranked so low I guess.

I'm happy with the class.... I'm not big on the stars rankings, but it helps me articulate what I was trying to communicate: we didn't land any 5* guys we were recruiting, maybe this year we will?

"coach dooley is a straight-up guy," humphries said. "you know what you are going to get from him. You can tell he's from the country and you can tell he's going to be hard-nosed about it. That's my guy. That's what i want to be around."

Wow seems like on a couple of pages in this thread that it looked like we didn't have a chance with this guy, but now after reading this we're definately in the thick of things. People are right there is definately alot of talent in the state of North Carolina, hopefully one of these days we'll get back to locking up great talent in that state.

I really like how this staff is building relationships with recruits, their parents, and high school coaches. This is going to make a huge difference in the future. I think the fans will start to see a turn around on the field soon.

I was speaking more about FL being his leader with no mention whatsoever of LSU.

Anyone that has followed his recruiting will tell you LSU Has lead throughout. Though I believe every coach will be in his ear about La el Collins all year.

Humphries attented UF's Junior Day this weekend. He said his visit went great. Once again UT was mentioned in the list of schools that are sticking out to D.J.

"I like Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina, Clemson, Georgia, and Alabama. I'm going to Tennessee next weekend, and after that it's pretty much up in the air."

FL Just landed Dunker... should help teams with Humphries
not sure that the case bc Dunker projects more at OG than OT..also, UF lost 4 guys to NFL and could lose 2 more to medical hardships and Orr was moved back to DL. UF is really thin on the OL. Looking to take 4 OL this cycle. Dunker said he's going to start reaching out to Theus, Humphries, Young and a few others.

FL Just landed Dunker... should help teams with Humphries

Doubt it. Dunker shouldn't have any effect on Humphries' decison. Dunker is a great OL prospect, but Humphries is elite. He has a ridiculous offer list and will be able to play anywhere in the country. I highly doubt Humphries is scared of competition so if he wanted to go to UF then Dunker isn't going to scare him off.

UT has everything this guy wants/needs. I think LSU will end up being too far and not have the home feeling he is wanting.

This is a guy UT would not miss on a few years back.
