'12 MS LB Richie Brown

That's just fine with me.. I would think it would be tough to stay at 225lbs once he gets into a college S&C program.. I was just wondering basically and personally I would rather see him at LB.. Santos and AJ in the middle and Richie and Maggitt (sp) on the outside... I know IF we go to a 34..

That's actually kind of scary when you think about it...

Peters could be the first freshman to see the field at LB.

Well dang, I forgot about that guy.. Nice to be getting enough talent in here so that I can forget about some of them... :good!:

Arik, tell your brother we hope he chooses UT but if not, BEST of luck wherever he goes..

He's an OLB for us all the way. He's a terror covering the field. His stock has been soaring since he killed everyone in the AL/MS all star game.

He really did dominate that game, and it's underrated as far as the all star events go. The last three national champions have been built from it.

State of Alabama HS football is underrated on a national level. I personally think we produce just as well as Cali. I think our athletes are better too. Georgia, Florida, and Texas have a lead on us but I wouldn't take a back seat to Cali at all.

Alabama athletes>Cali athletes
Cali coaches>Alabama coaches

I personally think that Cali gets a slight edge because their players come in coached up to an extent.

I agree and I'd throw Mississippi in the same category. We're both dumb as hell, but good at football.

Dang people...Otha Peters is the man on this recruiting class. He is better than santos by a good bit. Why is everyone so freaking crazy about santos...he is good but peters is superb.

Better than santos "by a good bit" is a bit much.

Santos reminds people of old school Tennessee MLB's that just like to hit people. Plus he's a good old country boy so what's not to like. If I had to choose based solely on athletic ability I would take Peters but I love Santos.

Santos reminds me of AJ Hawk and Bobby Carpenter when they were at OSU. Big rugged LB who's faster than you think.

Nice problem to have ain't it? :)

You know what's even better?...it doesn't matter who's better, because Santos, Peters, and Brown are all 3 takes for this class. Here's to all 3 being VFLs and all 3 being so good that they are All-Americans!

Because Santos has Prototype size and ability he can be an immediate impact player. He can really be a force in the middle and effect the way every team plays Tennessee from a offensive standpoint. But I do like Richie's athletic ability.

They will play different postions. Peters is an OLD and Santos is an MLB. Both players are awesome and UT wants both as well as Brown. These 3 LBs will be tearing up the field in the near future.

I think Richie would be a great recruit, He would be someone that will be a team player, no off the field issues,(big deal IMO). He averaged almost 18 tackles a game his senior year, thats is very impressive. He seems like a class act. Hope we can land him.

Whoa! You're right. Was this against solid competion? Nonetheless, it's still very impressive.

Someone mentioned this guy making noise in the AL/MS all star game. Anyone have any details?
