Norfleet sounds like exactly the kind of kid we want here. Tough, a leader, and possibly underrated. Bring 'em in Dooley.

Anyway, I just found out that Norfleet is at MSU's one-day camp today. I'd still expect him to make it to UT and eventually Alabama uncommited... as he planned to do. But I don't believe he was expected up there today.

Thanks for the good info SpartanFF. Obviously we are not going to get many 1st person reports from a Michigan local. Come back anytime (and send us Norfleet and O'Brien!)

His offer list is: MSU, UT, and Cincinnati. That's it. Somewhat worrisome, in my opinion. The RB who commited to MSU has an offer list that is far, far more impressive than that of Norfleet's. Norfleet will end up in the top 100 on 247 and will pick up an extra star probably everywhere... but his offer list doesn't match up and that's bigger to me.

MSU fans remain very high on him, and want him badly, but early optimism is now pessimism for sure. Whispers from within have us falling behind on Norfleet and thoughts that he may want to head South. Most MSU fans do not expect us to get Norfleet. Personally, I think he would have already commited to MSU if he wanted to, considering we have 10 commits already and limited space (18-20 in this class, total). One thing to watch for is MacGarrett Kings, a WR from Florida loves MSU and is in East Lansing today. If he commits I think we are out of the Norfleet sweepstakes.

So I think you guys are in a good position for him. I think getting an Alabama offer is a pipe-dream for him, even though he's visiting there.

And because you're all interested in O'Brien as well, I'll chip in that I think he's SEC or Michigan bound. MSU has no chance in my opinion. Kid is a beast, though.

Sounds like its bout 60% and growing. Just hope Bama doesnt offer him. I think he and O'Brien end up in Orange. Wasnt liking our chances a month or so ago, but sounds more promising everyday.

Spartan FF what is your opinion on Arnett? Do you think he will have an impact as a freshman for us this fall?

He is very high on the Vols, but the question is do we want him? He is small so it will depend on how the coaches think he will fit into the offense. The coaches will be evaluating him at the camp.

If the coaches push for him, I wouldn't be surprised if he commits soon.
