My favorite recruit. Something bout him sporting that Tennessee camo hat. I would not be happy at all with this class at this point (actually I would be panicking) if we didn't have one upper echelon freshman DT coming in. Wish he would have been an EE. Maybe he can make it in early this summer. Hope he stays healthy and lives up to the hype.

You're still comparing apples to oranges. Santos' father is reportedly shopping his boy around to schools besides UT. We have not heard anything of the like about O'Brien.

I really wonder how much O'Brien and Santos have talked lately. Not saying that in negative way, truly curious since they seem to hit it off. No homo, of course.

Good point. Wouldn't surprise me if O'Brien's encouraging Santos to make a decision based on what will make him happy. While simultaneously reminding Santos why he chose Tennessee in the first place. Kind of a "passive-aggressive" style of recruiting Santos as he (Santos) goes through the process. Being a friend (O'Brien) with an agenda.

I met him last night at the Eric Church concert in Saginaw. A buddy I had with me was wearing a Texas shirt, and he pointed at it and said, "They're trying to take Dalton from us." All Vol and a great guy, he was wearing his Tennessee football shirt underneath his jacket and had on his Tennessee camo hat. He saw me in my Tennessee stuff and came right over and introduced himself. He was excited as I was to see someone else wearing Vol gear!

Thats awesome, I think he is going to be a great face for Tennessee on and off the field. Seems like a good kid.
