“I had a great relationship with both Sirmon and Wilcox but I'm a Vol and it doesn't affect my commitment,” O'Brien said in a Facebook message. “As we say I'm VFL...Vol for life.”

This per ESPN Insider yesterday.

Insider posted a rumor about the DC search, but I don't really know which thread to post it in. Suggestions?

Also, I don't know how reliable their information is, but a good deal of their posts come true. At least by my count.

I think pipkins said that obrien is going to visit Michigan... Don't know how legit that is.. Wouldn't surprise me tho..

Edit: nevermind.. It was another guy tweeting pipkins saying he heard Michigan was supposed to have a surprise recruit in soon.. May not be Obrien.

"I've told them they picked Tennessee for a reason and I think they will realize why they picked Tennessee. It's crazy how much people can get in your life through Facebook and Twitter. You have to stay in your head and stay focused on who you are and what you want to do."

I would also like to add that I wish there were more recruits like Danny.

It's so refreshing to hear that he's picking Tennessee for all the right reasons. You just don't see that very often with recruits now days.

That article on VQ was probably the best one I've ever read. I am really impressed with him. Big Dan really is going to be a beast for us.

Santos. It seems the only reason Santos might not come up this weekend is because its an UOV and he would have to spend a lot of money when he doesn't have a new DC or position coach to spend time and build a relationship with. Based on all other accounts, he's solid to UT for the right reasons.

Love it. Danny is a VFL.
