I hope you're wrong about this. I would prefer for O'Brien to get a RS year in our s/c program before hitting the line.

We still dont have the luxury of redshirting guys who can contribute anything right away on DL espcially DT. Speaking of which, did Saulsberry get RSd or did he play? I don't remember seeing him on the field. I wonder if he will be able to contribute at all this year.

Calm down people. The sky isn't falling, yet. Believe it or not, UT football will still be UT football. No matter who the coach is.

Austin just talked to Danny O'Brien and he said that Dooley called him last night and told him that Wilcox and Sirmon was leaving. O'Brien said that he was a VFL and nothing is changing with him.

We need players who want to be here no matter the coaches to start recruiting right now to help keep this class together. Sometimes I think it is your peers who you want to play with the next four years who can impact where you want to go when you have bonded. Hoping Obrien and Croom can help get Santos and Peters back on the UT course.

Conflicting reports. It seems either O'Brien is telling different stories to different publications, or 247 is trying to get their numbers up. This is what 247 is reporting on O'Brien:

"O'Brien, who was being recruited for the Vols by Sirmon, said he was naturally caught off guard by the news and he plans to spend today thinking over the situation and deciding whether he wants to stick with Tennessee. He said he may have a decision tomorrow."

247 seems to do this a lot...I thought they were legit? They seem more like a joke to me.

I agree. Too many major differences in what they report and what VolQuest reports.

I think 24/7 intentionally takes things out of context and publishes it. So they can have something different and hope people will sign on with them.

Makes them come off as a pathetic joke, IMO.

It does seem strange that he would change his mind to a school he has been so committed to in one day. I would think he would only know something as quickly as tomorrow if he was staying firm.

Well he'd have to make a choice very soon if he's enrolling in the spring
