Yep. This year when watching the games the CB's have been killing me. On a lot of plays to the outside they come up and get sucked into a WR block like they have magnets in their pockets. Not to mention they couldn't get off a block if their life depended on it. IYO, What do you attribute it to BB? I know you've played the position. Is it talent, coaching, technique?

Coaching , technique, nor talent have anything to do with it. It's all about if you want it or not. You've got to let that WR know he's going to catch hell for blocking you. You've got to get your hands dirty out there. Leave the pretty stuff for the offense. Eric Gordon plays the edge very well when he's in and he's not our biggest guy. He doesn't play with great technique but he plays angry. Which is a good thing on defense.

If you look at his picture on the front page of TOS on the Michigan board, he sure looks the part of a Wolverine. I think the only recruits I noticed decked out in Orange at our game were the kids already commited. Maybe Danny will wear his UT camo hat to our game VS LSU.

Staff is REALLY encouraging O'Brien to be an EE. He's weighing the pros and cons...my guess is that he will be in Knoxville for the spring 2012 semester.

Pace is an EE in the "School of How to Eat Crow With Both Hands". Last I heard is that he's almost a 5*.

The hysteria from a lot of posters was ridiculous, but Pace certainly was leading the charge. One of my favorites was went something like, "I'm just being realistic. It's not my fault you all have on the orange glasses. It's almost July."

Just an update...Danny and Flint Powers beat Hemlock 26-0 in the quarterfinals this week. If they win next weekend Ill be able to go watch him play in the Championship game when I get home for thanksgiving break. Ill make sure to wear my orange out there.

It'll be a great matchup. OBriens team faced them earlier in the year and lost. Ive been hearing he's been a force so far in the playoffs so hopefully tomorrow will be no different.
