That's pretty cool man. I have always wanted to take some pics of wildlife. Doubt I will ever get around to it though. Yeah, those Albino's are pretty wicked looking. Hope they are still alive.

I dont hunt either. The time I went to LBL was with a camera. My buddy was hunting, I was taking video for him. I dont have access to the video or I would post some stills.

Back home I had some huge deer in the hayfield every night. We put up a camera and used to get snapshots of them. It was pretty cool. Albinos would be awesome. Very cool.

Edit: at my house here "in the Middle" we have very courteous deer. They dont even take my fence down anymore. They just duck under it, and go about their business. They can usually be found grazing with our horses, and just hanging around with them.

Still no Pace...

Oh well...I don't know if I'd show up around here either if I had spewed that much inane drool about recruiting...especially about DT recruiting...and especially about DO's recruitment

With Trent Taylor and Danny O'Brien added to the D-line we are suddenly looking like team that could be a serious contender sooner then later. I don't mean just because of these two players but the pieces do seem to be falling into place quite nicely.

It's always funny when the "realists" are proven completely and utterly wrong. Just because you take the evidence at hand and feel good about recruiting or a particular recruit doesn't mean that you are wearing the orange sunglasses.

That's something Pace and several other posters could learn.

What's even funnier is how the "realists" are nowhere to be found when they're proven wrong

Yup. Take SGM for instance...I haven't seen him post a "Boom" or "Welcome, Danny!" or "V,B" in this thread (or any commits thread for that matter). But I'd bet my life he'd have over a dozen posts in here by now if O'Brien had picked the Wolverines today.

That's why you ignore them and remember that when we are winning the SEC they will silently be cheering and stroking their Lane Kiffin dolls.

Thank you OCI -- exactly what I have been saying for months here. Danny was a silent all along.

I also want to thank you for all the good information you bring to these boards. You have become the most solid contributor here.

Appreciate it. I'm glad to pass on what I can. This is such an exciting time to be a fan of Tennessee football. I can't put into words how impressed people around the program are with the staff and the state of Tennessee football. Dooley and staff are rebuilding this program the right way. If you could only see what happens behind the scenes in terms of coaching, recruiting, and mentoring the players, you'd all swell with pride because this staff represents University of Tennessee with character and dignity. You'd almost think that Dooley, Chaney, Wilcox, Thompson, Baggett, Sirmon, Joseph, Hinshaw, and Hiestand grew up cheering for the Vols since birth because these guys BLEED ORANGE. When Dooley says our motto is the "relentless pursuit of continuous improvement," he means that in every aspect of the program. Tennessee football has been a sleeping giant since the early 2000s. The giant is no longer sleeping.

I had to overcome the same obstacles... Not too difficult when you have a head on your shoulders though. :)

If I was a recruit I wouldn't talk to anyone unless its the coach who is recruiting me. I wouldn't give any info to some website or beat writer. If I want it to be a suprise it would truely be a suprise. Glad he's a vol. :)

It totally suprised me.

So glad we got him. I feel we need to get one more ready DT and two DE. We will have a solid recruiting class. We could afford to have a great RB. Just not convinced that We have lined up great RB talent.

Good stuff! I hope she's enjoying her time at UT! :hi:

Thanks. She is having a great time so far. All of her classes sit at 4.0, she is enjoying all of the SEC sporting atmosphere, and is an athlete as well. (haha, sorry guys, still no pics)

She had to chose between a full academic scholly at Mich State (going back home, where she grew up as a spartan) or a fully academic scholly to UT (being with mom and pop)

Glad she chose to be with mom and pop, cause we would have missed her too much if she were 600 miles from us.

She still has a hard time with the ut -v- UF thing, but she will be ok when it matters most!!

One of these days I will have to say GO Voo. .. Vvvv . . VVVVVVVVVOOOO. . . sigh. cant get it out yet!!

Go lilgatorbill for now!!:good!:

I fell in love with Charlie Baggett as an athlete back in the early-mid 70s at Michigan State, then later on as a coach, recruiter, and ambassador of the Sport of Football at MSU. He is a maker of men. He is a stand up guy. And he gives all he can to his job at all times. As a Michigan State Fan, he will always be one of my favorite people in the sport.

When yall hired dDooley, I knew he was an upgrade in personality, and accountability from "you know who", but I wasnt sure what he would be as a coach. You have a true stand up guy, a man of his word, a man who cares for the kids that play for him, and will give everything he has to this university and community. And he know a little about coaching the game of football, I would say.

These two guys, all by themselves, will have me following the Vols closely. I will be a vols fan all but one week every fall, because of these two men.

I think the O'Brien kid made a solid choice, and I look forward to seeing him play the next 4 years.

I will leave yall alone for a while. Thanks for letting me chime in.

and GO VVvvvvv..VVVvvv...sigh. nope, still not there.:peace2:
