O'Brien has grown close with several players on the Tennessee team like Carson Anderson, Austin Johnson, and Jake Storey. He's also formed a great relationship with fellow commitment Dalton Santos. The two were supposed to visit next weekend for the LSU game before Santos moved his visit to this Saturday.

"Coach Sirmon hooked us up on the phone," O'Brien said. "We've talked on the phone a good bit. I think we are going to room together. It's exciting to get to know him. He's a big hunter and I'm excited about that because I love to hunt. We can combine the north and the south and take down some big deer."

Spoiled it. Austin Price is tweeting that he picked UT but the announcement isn't until 3:15. I think they screwed up big time. They owe the kid an apology, IMO.

It worked out exactly as I and some others here predicted a long time ago. O'Brien has been a Vol since his last visit here and this announcement today to openly confirm that fact was timed to come right before his official visit.

Great kid, great pickup for the Vols, and a great job by Sirmon, Dooley and the staff.
