Michigan isnt in the SEC, so they can still take 28 commitments, and depending on class size from last year, could feasibly count back.


But, theres a lot of people who think it's just a matter of time before O'B pulls the trigger. He would have already, but he has a lot of friends on the Michigan team trying to keep him close to home...

During the season some teams will perform worse than expected and others will perform better than expected. Recruits will decommit and recommit to other teams. It's way to early to worry about all this. Maybe after 3 more months you will get a better appreciation for teenage loyalties.

Per Tom VH, a guy who has OB's ear, Danny will have a phone conversation with the Michigan coaches tomorrow(15th).

With the commitment of DT Ondre Pipkins many fans were wondering where DT Danny O'Brien stood and if the Michigan coaches would still accept a commitment from O'Brien. Danny has a phone call scheduled with the Michigan coaches to talk on Monday [the 15th] about where he stands. He told me that he will still consider Michigan if there's a spot open. I will let you know how the phone call went as soon as he has it.

I guess we find out tomorrow how Michigan feels about Danny O'Brien in this class. Anything less than them leaving a spot open for him and I have to begrudgingly believe he is all VOL

Looks like to me that he is all UM if they tell him that they have a spot for him and I have a feeling they will.

Does kinda sound that way. Fingers crossed that it isn't that way though. We seriously need to stop finishing 2nd for DTs and start finishing first.

Pisses me off actually. I hate the thought of us being this guy's 2nd choice. Even if he does commit to us it would only be because another school wouldn't take him. Almost makes me not want him now.

He wore the UT hat to UM junior day for a reason. He made a statement of UT has offered and UM hasn't. He has the offer and he's Ben working on his relationship with the coaches there. He has a lot tugging him to UM ATM.
