Dudes, help me out. How good are we looking with O'Brien? I like all the optimism surrounding him.

i'm going to assume the pitch is something along the lines of... "we have a DT starting spot open and would like a juco who could come in and take the starting role right away." one of the big things for juco's is the ability to start their first year. if one of these guys see the other committed they could see it as their starting spot not being as much of a sure thing and with only two years that is a big difference. jmo.

I did not want to start a new thread to ask, but I was wondering about how many EE's we are going to have. I've read that we will have alot throughout the threads, but not an actual number on how many.

If you look at his picture on the front page of TOS on the Michigan board, he sure looks the part of a Wolverine. I think the only recruits I noticed decked out in Orange at our game were the kids already commited. Maybe Danny will wear his UT camo hat to our game VS LSU.

I have been all about this kid being a VOL from the jump. I just followed what was being said and the articles posting new info about him. It has been quite a while now that it looked like he was going to Michigan if they would make room for him. It does not make me happy at all as I know DT is the 1 major need we continue to miss on. Those who sit on here and sip the koolaid and think all these kids are Vol locks and like to quote the positive Vol info and act like the positive Michigan info never happened just crack me up. Yes, I tend to be sarcastic when people claim "he is a VOL until he commits somewhere else". It's the same story as DJ all over again. After the O'Brien commitment is over, you can count on there will be another star 4-5 star kid who will become the new "big fish" and it will all start again. People have said for a while that my concerns over the DT recruiting was just negative. Well, the list is starting to run very thin. Calling me names is not going to get rid of me so by all means...do what ya gotta do. :thumbsup:

The thing about Pace is he puts himself WAY out there...

This has two possible outcomes...either he ends up with alot of bragging rights or he's very easy to make fun of...

Thankfully for all of us...it's the latter
