Does anyone else see the irony in this ordeal with Peters? The same UT fans who were bashing Santos parents for supposedly pushing him to Texas are now holding out hope that Peters mom puts a stop to him picking Arkansas. "Let the kid make his own decision". Funny how that changes when it's not working in our favor. :eek:lol:

Telling your kid to back out of a commitment is different than advising a kid not to break a commitent based on how he feels for the last 1% of his recruitment.

wait, so when Landon Collin's mom doesnt support her child's decision, we turn into the moral police, but in a case involving your favorite team, we are rooting for the mom to overrule the son...

Mamma Peters wasnt classless on national TV. Collins also wasnt committed at the time for months on end.

Something fishy about the Peters decommit and sudden commit to Arky.....

IMO his coach is getting hooked up. Tons of negative recruiting by Arky too. Very classless.

Otha is making a huge mistake if he does switch. He's going up against a spread offense everyday in practice at Arky. At least we TRY to run the ball.

It's not the same and I'll go on record as saying that I want him to go where he wants to go. Here or Arkansas.

They way his ( Collins ) mom acted on national TV is an embarrassment.

Peters has been " all Vol " for quite sometime now, to flip at the last minute may not sit well with his mom, she has every right to talk to her son about it but not the right to make the choice for him.

Afraid this ones over. I'm pretty sure arkansas fan wrote on his wall congratulating him on changing to the hogs. Both his mom and sister liked the status tifwiw.

You are probably right that Arkansas is in play, but there has been some indication that this one isn't done yet. There has been further suggestion that Peters' family checks this thread. Many want Peters to continue to consider the Vols tonight. Speculative criticism of the coach that is a minority opinion hijacking the thread concerned with Peters recruitment strikes some as counter productive besides being a misrepresentation of the fan bases general sentiments toward Dooley and their desire to see him succeed.
