Petrino isnt going back to the NFL because no team would ever touch this piece of trash after what he did to the Atlanta players. How any parent would ever allow their kid to play for a lying sleeze like Bobby P is beyond me.

This is very unfortunate. I sincerely hope otha has a change of heart before tomorrow. However, the university of Tennessee is bigger than any one person. If he feels he belongs elsewhere, so be it. We will be fine with or without him or any other recruit. If Arkansas is where he feels he belongs, why fault him?

I do believe that his mother not taking the trip with him hurt us. As with any boy that age, things are different without your moral compass in tow. They may not have given money or whatever else some would wildly speculate. They would have been able to show some of the party scene though, maybe have some friendly girls show him some love. At 17 you think "hey this is great, must be like this all the time." With mom you see the academics, the facilities, the trophy rooms, and the whole support system. On your own you get the dorm parties, the GA telling you negative things on other schools, the bad influences. Without someone in your ear to help you see past all that, the fun of having that freedom will beat the reality of the situation.

Hopefully otha figures out what really is best for him, and hopefully that is to be a VFL.

Said quarterback Joey Harrington regarding Petrino's comments about his new job as Razorbacks coach: "To have him talk about family, about team, about commitment, then come in here and have a form letter at your locker, that's not a man's act. That's how a coward acts."

I wonder if Petrino preached any of these things to Otha...

I am just catching the tailend of this. Who is reporting Peters has switched? Is this a reliable source? Do we know 100% he has switched? Sorry for all the questions.

Oh yea the combo of sorority girls and his high school coach persuading him equals an Ark lock. Mom wasn't there too supervise him. I hope he became a father in Arkansas, joking of course ok maybe.
