Petrino is a snake and is officially on my **** list.

He always has been. It doesn't take much reading between the lines to figure out he has been negatively recruiting UT for months now, based on some quotes from coaches about what they were hearing from recruits.

How anyone would let their kid go play for a guy who was ALWAYS looking for an out while he was at Louisville, and after the way he did his best Mayflower truck impersonation when he left Atlanta.

Coach Sunseri probably told him to look around because he "wasn't the right fit" for his 3-4 defense. Kind of like Richie Brown.

Or maybe Coach Dooley told him he wasn't big enough to play in UT's defense. Kind of like Khalid Henderson.

Oh well. I'm really glad we got that one true perfect fit for a 3-4 LB. Justin King.

Well, this sucks, but if you follow recruiting, you know this kind of stuff always happens. If we fill our LB spot with Quanzell Lambert, Rutgers fans will be saying the same about him. Can't wait for signing day to be over and the dust to settle. Good luck to Peters.

Hard to blame him if he is. By VN logic it's perfectly OK for a coach to cut ties with a recruit without notice but it's wrong for a recruit to do that to a coach. Lulz.

nothing like feeling more "secure" with a coach who took every interview he could snake his way into while at U of L and then bolted mid-season on the Falcons without telling any of his players.

How the hell anyone can take Petrino at his word is beyond me. Although, if what we suspect to be true with this situation, Otha might fit in just fine with Petrino.

Let's be honest as Vol fans, we've been through a lot. It doesn't take much to hurt our feelings. I'm pissed and I am sure many of you are as well, but life will go on. Football in the fall at Neyland will erase a lot of anger and frustration. I am going to be optimistic that we are going to do big things. Really, I am grateful for players like Jason Croom who get it and know what it means to be a VFL. Best of luck to Otha. It was wrong for him to lie but it's more than likely over now.

If it's true, I wish him the worst of luck. Screwing over a program you've been committed to for months. I hope he fizzles into mediocrity like almost every other Ark defensie player. Santos deserves all the best wishes, but if Peters really lied like it seems he did, then I hope his football career ends 4 years from now.
