You know I don't post often and normally I just look past your dickhead posts, but not today. I thought you were just a disgruntled Vol fan, but I was wrong. You genuinely take joy in this.

It's not like this only happens to UT. IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME! We have been responsible for stuff like this recently. ie. Rogers/Lane/Magitt. Get over all of the DOOM and GLOOM!

Minus the four letter words (no disrespect Mama Croom, I'm guilty as well), I married a woman just like you....you're never in doubt of where you stand with her, good or bad.

I'd rather have a parent of a recruit pick up the phone and dog-cuss the coaches than outright lie to them.

If this is what happened with Otha and his mom.....I have no respect for them.

Let's be honest as Vol fans, we've been through a lot. It doesn't take much to hurt our feelings. I'm pissed and I am sure many of you are as well, but life will go on. Football in the fall at Neyland will erase a lot of anger and frustration. I am going to be optimistic that we are going to do big things. Really, I am grateful for players like Jason Croom who get it and know what it means to be a VFL. Best of luck to Otha. It was wrong for him to lie but it's more than likely over now.

I think the bottom line is this should just, once and for all, get people to realize a commitment means nothing. Until they sign the LOI, everyone is a toss up.

I just don't understand how his mom is letting him go there without even being there herself.

That has always been priority #1.

This is dirty recruiting/cheating at its finest. Petrino is a snake and is officially on my **** list.

Honestly, It wouldn't shock me if Otha had not told a soul until today...for the COACH to be the one to report all of this to the papers and the tone(I took) from his statement, it just sounds as if the COACH was never sold on the Vols and the negative stuff was pumped to Otha over and over by him and his staff, or maybe just him...(just my take)....just a q skeet: when did Otha even plan the visit to Fayetthell? Wasn't it later, way later in the game? I mean, O's twitter acct still has him with a UT jersey on saying he's gonna be playing for Tennessee...just, Wow! What a shame.

This sounds like a Lamar Dawson type situation. I hope this isn't the same but we won't know until everything is written in ink. Didn't he lie to our coaches last year?

At least with Dalton, we saw this coming or knew it might happen once he visits Texas, but with Otha, VN as a whole did not see this coming..I agree with others that this isn't adding up except to the fact that some serious $$$$ has been falling into some hands,IMO:angry:

I'll just get up at 8:00AM as planned and watch the LOI's come in on the recruits that want to be here..Screw this :censored:!
