Its true. Im done. Not gonna report what a mother and her child tells our coaches and have it turn out to be lies. See what i meant about Dalton yesterday? He handled it correctly, never lied and called the coach himself, because hes a man.
Im not that upset about Otha being a hog, what pisses me off is his mom and he misled our coaches not even 24 hours ago. Flat out lied, no other way to look at it. very disappointed in those two.

Some people are flat out low-life liars. This is why I prefer dogs to people.

Tough one to lose but if we're going to the 3-4 then maybe we need bigger LBs anyway. Just trying to put a bright side on it.

Otha's coach has confirmed to us as he has to everyone else that he's flipped to Arkansas and has told the Tennessee staff.

Otha is obviously not taking calls. Mom didn't go on the visit, but I don't think she is going to prevent her son from going there if that's what he indeed wants to do.

How does losing a recruit equal failure? So Fulmer was a failure by VolBeef's standards because we lost plenty of recruits and that was during a time when were winning 8-10 games a year.

What classifies Dooley a failure is his record. That's kinda why we keep score and all that stuff.

Patterson is gravy, has nothing to do with whether-or-not this class is a failure.

I disagree simply because IMO Patterson would take our offense from potentially great, to potentially UnStoppable. I mean you want to make sure you don't see much Z Rodgers? Patterson can contribute immediately which means less of Big Z.

It isn't an immediate need, so i get where your coming from, but adding another elite receiver could take our offense to a whole new level. IMO JMO TIFWIW...ect.

Put's a damper on this class for sure. I thought we were actually going to get through one without a bunch of negative crap surrounding it, but Otha pretty much blew that one up. I hate flip-floppers.
Somewhere Khalid Henderson is probably smiling.
We just offered his equivalent today to make up for the debacle.

I just got off the phone with his coach and he did confirm that Peters called Tennessee earlier today and let them know he will be signing with Arkansas tomorrow.

He said that he really was solid before the weekend visit to Arkansas and they really opened up his eyes about how close they are to winning a championship soon and that was the deciding factor.

"The biggest thing is going to a school that has a chance to win champ now compared to couple of years. He feels like Arkansas is in better situation to win a championship now and that's probably the biggest difference now. He really liked coach Joseph and he did a great job and he just thought the best thing chance to win now was at Arkansas," coach Scobel told me.

We don't expect Tennessee to go down without a fight in this one, though.

Also, we do believe Tennessee is searching for other linebacking options, including Kenneth Bynum that some other people have reported. We'll continue to check in on guys.

Also, we are going to continue to try and talk to Peters himself.

Ahh...kind of like Fulmer's record his last two years without Cutcliff. That is a good point. We had terrible recruiting classes then as well. At least this one is better even after losing all the guys we have lost.
