Something just isn't adding up here to me. Why make a switch like this right before NSD? Why not wait till NSD to do it for more shock value. Hopefully this is nothing more than internet garbage like the Randy Shannon rumors.

Covington Coach Malter Scobel said Peters was concerned about the coaching stability at Tennessee where Derek Dooley is considered on the hot seat after losing records in his first two seasons there.

“Otha had some valid reasons to make his change,” Scobel said. “It wasn’t anything silly.

“Tennessee’s up against a different challenge than they are in Arkansas. Otha was very straightforward with Tennessee about the decision, and I think they still would like to have him.”

VQ poster said there has been no change to his twitter account. I haven't seen it but he is supposed to still in his vol jersey and still said he's playing at UT....

This kind of tactics used by other teams until the NCAA allows recruits to sign after their 4 offical visits or until commitments are in writing and binding unless situations warrant it....

You get one or two rumors out there and it becomes a dominio affect.....It is more of an issue when a committment flips at the last minute.....
