LSU fan on the Rivals Mb claims he coaches baseball at Peters HS & he talked to Otha the other day & he said LSU is now really after him. TIFWIW.

This is where good recruiting comes into play. Dooley and his staff get paid well to hold on to players like this. Otha Peters is a good football player. It is expected for him to be recruited heavily, especially by local universities. Dooley will not be successful rebuilding Tennessee on average players. He has got to hold onto players like Jacobs and Peters.

Exactly...gotta hold on to these type guys.

This guy's film this year is amazing. We've got to have this kind of acceleration at OLB to compete for championships. Must get.

+1!

Half the battle is getting them to commit, the other half is keeping them committed. I'm a little nervous about Peters & Jacobs, we need those type of guys if this program wants to continue improving & work it's way back to championship level.

Dooley hasn't lost one yet...call me if he ever does...

Peters is going to be a Vol.

yawn

You're right. Dooley hasn't lost one yet, but at some point he will. It's just a part of recruiting.

Oh I know, I have no doubts that at some point someone will decommit from CDD and UT, if not this year then maybe the next. But until then I won't worry about it happening.

and there was a reason i came here to see if it was a rumor or if it had legs. calm down bruh.

I personal have always enjoyed most of your post, some I do not agree with, but that is to expected. I for one mans viewpoint want to hear opinions other than my own.

If what I think cannot take the challenge it may be untrue and unworthy. So keep on posting and bring you avatar around here often

P.S. can't wait to kick your arse in football, and even looking forward to challenge in BB...

J Moore, do you know something that makes you nerveous beyond the fact of the need?

thanks i guess, but there was a thread on A&M's 24/7 site that said Otha might be looking around. i guess because i ask a question that means i am a troll. cool story i guess.

A&m lock IMO. In fact, you all may lead on all of our committed prospects right now.

i wouldnt want them all, just O'Brien, Santos, McNeil, Peters, and Bowles. :hi:

I like that those are the only players off our list that you think are good enough to be valuable at TAMU. Continues to show the depth of your homerism when it comes to recruiting.

"Yes sir, I do still plan to take additional official visits, but I haven't set any up yet," the 6-foot-1, 225-pound Peters relayed about his thinking. "I plan to do that after my season.

"I think that I am going to visit Texas A&M, LSU and Nebraska. Those three right there."

"I haven't officially visited Tennessee yet. I just went to their camp last summer.

"I have watched them on TV. I mean, I think that they are playing well being so young and to be as injured as they are without some of their starting players. They don't have some of their best players on offense."

"No sir, I don't think LSU has offered me yet, but Coach (Ron) Cooper is still recruiting me. They are playing real good, just pretty much doing whatever they want with teams."

Peters shared that he has also watched several Cornhusker games.

"I have been watching Nebraska a little more, yes sir. They're doing pretty good. I mean they lost that Wisconsin game, but ever since then they've been doing real good.
