I would also play really hard for UT...but my skinny butt wouldn't do the football team much good. Although I feel like I could beat the other team to the 15 on kickoffs.

Edit: no offense to you flowd, or to Larkins. Just jabbin ya.

I've met Corey multiple times, and he is as good a guy as advertised.

Larkins is third in return yardage at UT. He was bringing past the twenty consistently. I wasn't being sarcastic about him being a favorite.

Yeah, I'm well aware of his accomplishments. He wouldn't let me forget haha. But I apologize for grouping you with that then, chavisut. I'm not the best judge of sarcasm.

I just know there are many UT fans that bashed Larkins while he played and still make fun.

Sometimes people are remembered for what they did in certain situations (clumsy clint stoerner at Ark). They can be soid the majorityof their career, but fans may not think highly of them for a few bad mistakes. I don't actually remember one thing about Larkin, either way.

Arian Foster endorses this post.

He wasn't going to house anything but he's been one of the few consistent, reliable guys we've had back there in years.

I agree. We also had some issues in our special teams blocking schemes during Larkins time at UT.

I didn't say will be better. Isaid I think he will be better as in potential to be. Learn to read and not just take a part of my sentence to change context. I wrote because oci is raising his expectations way too high before cp has practiced

LOL. Learn how to read? I will admit that my reading comprehension and my communitcation skills aren't always at their best but your comprehension of your own written communication skills is lacking. Just because you said "I think" in front of "he will be better than Da'Rick" doesn't imply he has more potential. It means in your opinion he will be better than Da'Rick.

IIRC, the last KO's and Punt Returns for TD...
2004 vs. So. Car., Bret Smith returned a KO for TD.
2002 vs. VU, Mark Jones returned a punt for TD.

1999 vs. UGA, Leonard Scott returned a KO for TD. *Tied School Record 100 yds.
1998 vs. UA, Peerless price returned a KO for TD. *School Record 100 yds.

Let's not hype him too much to the point that our fans call him a bust if he doesn't score a td every time he touches the ball. I expect him to be great but this is the sec and you never truly know how people will react to the competition. I think he will be better than Darick but not ready to say Justin. Justin is most talented kid we have ever had at Wr

Most talented?? Premature at this point. Let's revisit when his college playing days are over.
Willie Gault, Tim McGee, Carl Pickens, are among the most talented WR's to don the Orange & White, IMO. If you are looking at Tennessee Receiving records Price, Wilson, Nash, Morgan, and Kent to go along w/ the three above.

Carl Pickens was awesome.. Td woods .. Joey kent... Peerless.. All are above him now.. He'll have to break a few records to join that company.. Darick is closer to claiming a top five spot right now.. Really impressive what he was able to do last year with Simms throwing the rock.. 1000 yd season was a miracle really

When I think of Corey Larkins I think of Mr. Utility for the Vols---playing both sides of the ball. Competing no matter the task. Excelled in the return gm, IMO. Great burst and quickness. Competitor and leader.

I would add Robert Meachem to that list as well.

As physical talents Marcus Nash, Meachem, Stallworth, Pickens, Gault, Alvin Harper, D.Rogers, Price and Hunter come to mind. Numbers don't always indicate who has the most talent. Patterson and Hunter could very well end up as the most athletic guys on that list. D.Rogers has a nasty combo of size, speed, and strength to his game. Maybe the best on that list.
