Don't be surprised if CP exceeds the hype.

It's hard to tell how good he is from the limited amount of highlights out there for him. What type of receiver is he? Big and strong, big and fast...? Or better yet would you compare him to someone similar? I only ask because you seem to know a little more than the average person about him. Thanks.

I think I remember reading last year that a lot of Scouts said Patterson was by far the best WR in the nation HS, JUCO, or NCAA.

Hubbs called CP a "Freak" & Hubbs just doesn't say that about anyone.

Also think someone compared him to a younger Randy Moss.

CP is 6'4" 210lbs & runs a 4.3.

I would encourage VN to attend the NC State game because you will all be able to look back and say, "I was there to witness CP's first game in a Vol uniform." He's better than advertised. The offensive staff can't wait to unleash our offense. One word: Explosive.

When was the last time an NCAA team had 3 1000+ yard receivers in a season? Wishful thinking I know, but hopefully good health will allow Bray to make a run at that.

In my mind, the hype already created has CP as an All-SEC player his first year. We have Justin Hunter and Da'Rick Rogers. This could be ridiculous.

I remember Hinshaw saying "you'll know his name soon enough" or something like that....can't wait

We need to get all 3 on the field which is not possible yet. JH is recovering and CP is not at UT yet. And I won't even begin with the Da'R off field "issues". Plus the injury bug on either QB or WR would hurt this all.

The idea of 3 potential 1000+ yarders on the team is a nice thought but there is a lot that needs to get done prior to that being possible, and the risk of injury spoiling the notion is real. If it does happen by November of this year, yeah Bray might be a Heisman hopeful.

Its refreshing to watch a returner make a kicker look like a kicker trying to tackle. The return game should offset our kicking woes.
