Commentator: "When did you know in your heart Tennessee was the place for you?"
Cordarrelle: "A while back" :acute: + "My mom too, deep down she already knew I was going to choose Tennessee."

:p Could have saved a whole lot of worry and (negaVol) thread space...

In his interviews today, Patterson confirmed almost exactly the reasons I gave many months ago saying that it would come down to UT and Georgia and that he would pick us. He said today that contrary to what most people were saying, he really liked the idea of playing alongside to other great receivers and that having Bray (followed by Worley) was also a major factor. Auburn was never a factor, just as predicted.

Recruits do not always follow logic, but when they have had a chance to mull things over, they frequently figure it out.

Patterson is a great addition to our offense and next year should be the most exciting offense we have seen in many years. Go Vols!!

Feels good to get my avatar back. Also, the silence from a few posters is deafening. :whistling:

Lol -- I do think I hear crickets, OCI. If I remember correctly one even started a new thread about the "insiders melting away" last night. You and Skeeter were good sources of information for us and we appreciate it very much. It's just a shame that so many cannot understand that reading 17 year old kids is not like math, where 2+2 always = 4.

482 yards as a kick returner on 10 returns.

48.2 yard average.

I can't wait to see this guy in orange.

dear god. i feel stupid because i saw the stats and as easy as it was to figure out i never even thought of that. didnt he return 3 for tds? didnt he also have like 35 carries for like 5 tds and caught like 15 on 62 receptions as well? if thats right or at least close dude had 23 touchdowns on around 110 touches. around one every 5 touches.

I just don't understand how defenses are gonna try and stop CP, JHunt and Darick on the field at one time..absolutely filthy.

no matter how great our passing game will be, if we cant run the ball, we wont beat the UGA's, Bamas, & So. Carolinas of the SEC

If I'm reading Florida's recruiting class correctly, they intend on using an 11-man defensive line. Conjecture at this point. But that's what it looks like they're trying to do.

No doubt but D's won't be able to stack the box with those 3 WR's out there and I think Jay Graham and our RB's are going to figure out how to make it happen. JMO

Then we've got another Big WR like Croom. Or we can play a little smaller with Dallas and Howard(both speedsters). We'll also have some speed in the backfield. And Bowles will be good too. About time we're back to having some speed everywhere.

It's about to get real dirty...straight nasty!

I agree but I think Lane will be good to go this year..a lot of people have written him off for some reason but he has all the tools to be special. Just gotta keep that knee healthy.

Our O-line woes should be gone by next season. We have a big and talented line, no excuse for not seeing any production in the run game. Add a healthy Lane and Bourque in the mix, and our offense is really going to be clicking on all cylinders next year imo. This has the potential to be one of the best offenses Tennessee has ever fielded if we can work out the kinks in the run game, which I believe we will. Bray, Hunter, Rogers, and Patterson is going to be fun to watch next fall.

We have talked about the duo of Hunter and Rogers, which we can all agree they were gonna be one of the best duos in a single season at UT if not for the injury. Folks, if CP turns out the way everyone knows he's capable of turning out, this is gonna be by far, the best receiving trio in the history of this program. Hell, im even excited about the rest of the receivers.

That I can agree on. Don't matter how much UT can throw it around in the SEC. If UT don't have a running game and a solid defense soon, UT won't ever beat the LSU, Bama, UF, and UGA's of the Southeastern Conference.

Ya well, if you pull out of the box it should help the run game too..
