I was reading an Auburn board earlier and they claimed that it was a UGa-AU battle for Patterson. They said that he had eliminated us. Wishful thinking on their part or what?
What truth is that? The truth that UGA hasn't won shizznit in 3 decades? Face it, your team means nothing until you can say you have beat us more than we have beat you.
We own the Mutts, all time. They own UF, all time. I think we're just kidding ourselves thinking the all time record holds more water than the last decade, in most people's minds. In ours? Sure, if we want to. It's a nice little accomplishment. But dwelling in the past won't help us reclaim our heritage.
There's an update on him on the Ole Miss sites. Can anybody see it?
it mentions that he visited Ole Miss on Jan. 13th and is thought to have narrowed his list down to Ole Miss, Auburn, UGA, and LSU. Otherwise it says the same thing as everybody else is saying - he will announce next week. When the Ole Miss 247 people asked if he had eliminated any team from his list or if he had a leader, CP answered "No" to both.
That's not how I meant it. I followed different teams in high school but it was all UGA after high school.
We throw the ball more which means he'll be targeted more most likely in Chaney's pass happy offense. Look at Bray and Murray's average pass attempts per game. That has to be wishful thinking. If CP wants receptions then UT is the place to be. They will have a new QB, OC, and starting RB.
Tennessee will give him the best chance of being successful and I really believe that.
I think UGA gives him a better chance than Auburn.
So...you pulled for UT when Manning was here then you started to pull for UGA after that...which means you started somewhere in the 1998-2000 range...which just happened to be right around the start of one of the best stretches UGA has ever seen (01-05)...
Can anyone here say bandwagon fan?
