He's gone. At this point I would almost rather have Q. Davis. He'd have more time here than Patterson. Although Patterson is elite.

Aaron Murray can get him the ball when he is not throwing it to the other team.

If CP comes to Tennessee, he will be open every single play and Hunter, Rogers and Patterson should be able to get Bray some Hawaii or Texas Tech type passing numbers. At UGA he will be bolstered by help from...Marlon Brown? Orson is getting the heck out and even with his superlative abilities was not able to get open much in the crap offense UGA had.

I don't know if you want to compare your team with Hawaii. They did not look too good when they played in the Sugar Bowl.

The thing is, as a WR, you really don't want to be "The Man." When you are, you get double covered and thus shut down for most of the game.

When you have another major receiving threat on the other side of the formation, then it opens the coverage up so you can do your "thang." That's why it should be extremely attractive for him to join a group that could literally dominate teams next year.

You may want to look up all time passing records...

Chang is going to be scared of Bray if we get CP. We will still have a pretty absurd passing attack regardless.

I would watch out for AU here. They are making a late push for him at the moment and it seems he may be very interested.

Next year with or without CP, Bray will outperform Murray. He will have more passing TDs, more yards, completions etc.

yea id rather have him there, but still i dont think its completely over with UT, i still have hope that if we can get wired back and recruiting with our new DC that the spark could entertain CP again.

I actually left "almost" out the first time I typed the post. I put it in because there is a part of me that would still prefer the elite talent of Patterson, even if for a shorter time.

This might not mean a hill of beans, but I have read in 2 of his interviews that he wants to stay close to home (Rock Hill) because he wants his family to see him play, since that wasn't the case in Kansas. UT and UGA are both 4 hours away and the barn is over 6. 8 hours of driving on weekends is a heck of a lot better than 12, especially if you work all week. Just throwing it out there FWIW
