Well I would say that since the staff went after grice before him he is not the only person that disagrees. It's just funny how this guy is the best back but when he doesn't come the next guy will be better.

You will see it on here all day everyday. The next guy is always better. The same guys who were talking up Marlin Lane last year have now tossed him aside and feel no matter what back is coming in, will take the starting spot.

I'm most concerned about him staying healthy. He gets banged up a lot. Hopefully a season in the S&C program will help him out. I hope he's more confident in that knee this year too.

He has offers from two teams who are a whole lot better than us...Arky and Oklahoma. The only thing I see that we have to offer is immediate playing time. My hunch is that we are a real long shot here. But he is willing to come over on Jan 13th and we'll see how it goes.

I'm not saying Williams is a bad back. But when I compare his film to Grice's, there IS no comparison. Grice looks far superior on tape. And, as others have pointed out, the UT staff came to the same conclusion.

I uh gotta disagree a little. I thought Williams looked better but that's just my opinion.

This is the first time seeing this kids film or heard of him he is better than grice better speed footwork and vision I don't know about the toughness but this kid is better wait and see

That new Arizona State coach from Pittsburgh gonna be all over this guy. Bet he ends up back at ASU. But if we can get him....great!

Grice not coming here ... have to move on. Williams can step in and be the guy right off the bat here. Not sure that can be said at any other school he is considering

Kid has great cutting ability,vision, and seems to attack the line of scrimmage with some authority, but does not seem to finish runs with physicality. Could be an "ok" SEC back. Mike Davis is significantly better IMO due to the fact that he finishes runs with much more physicality and attacks the line of scrimmage with more authority.

He's no where near better than Grice. I don't know where you saw better speed. Williams is looking a bit like A.Foster in college to me(which is good as long as he doesn't fumble at bad times).

Williams does alot of dancing. Grice takes the ball north and south. He seems to punish people and that is something we have been missing here. Williams would be a solid pickup late if other options are exhausted.

Lots of good RB's dance a bit. The real question is does he trip and how is he after contact?
