They just took Taylor a DT this week. The rumors started after that. Saban could have visited McCullers 2 weeks ago and decided to take Taylor. We should know soon enough either way.

You guys are jumping the gun here a little. A Taylor has not commited to UA. the fact is his parents want him to be sure before he makes a decision. They really like FSU. So much they drove him to FSU today to go visit and talk to the coaches.

So in short A Taylor has not commited to UA and I would say that keeps UA in the McCullers sweepstakes.

The earliest an EE can sign is Wednesday next week and that is if they plan on attending classes in Jan. But McCullers will not graduate until March, so he has until April basically to sign.

We should get a huge step closer to finding out if Bama will pass on him or not tomorrow if Taylor commits and they recruit him for the DL.

I have concerns about him. Is 380 too heavy? In his case, I think 380 really means 415. His conditioning can't be too great. His JUCO stats aren't all that great. He didn't win any JUCO all-american awards like the others we are after.

With that said, it is a position of need and he is a big ole boy. I will certainly take him. But I don't think he would be one of our top-10 recruits or anything.
