Im honestly thinking McCullers is going to get tired of waiting. Regardless of whether Bama considers him a take or not, he already knows he has a home and spot waiting right here and now at Tennessee. McCullers having to wait on them only helps our chances imo. I know Bama's been the team to beat, but he had a great visit and its possible that if Bama continues to stall with him, that it will rub him the wrong way and we'll pick up a commitment from him. At least I hope that's how it plays out.

TW has been very clear today that Bama has asked him to wait. Your post on TW are confusing. We all seem to trust him and respect what he says but it seems you bring up what he said 2 weeks ago instead of seeing what he said today. I know its hard to read all the post but using a post 10 days old in recruiting isn't accurate.

looks like bama is going to take taylor and pass on mcclurrers that is good news for us.

that is what my bama buddy is saying, that if they get taylor they will pass on mcclurrers they wanted him as a project, they think taylor can play either on offense or defense line from the day he enrolls. he says they they they want him on defense even thou he played offense in high school.

this is great news for us.

he can be a big help to us.

i hope i am right also, i think we need him bad.

hope that the staff wants him as bad as i do.

i would be glad for bama to pass on him, they might have someone they think that is better but hey we want him and need him.

if bama takes him we have to look elsewhere and might have to make up ground to somebody else.

we are in his top two so i think we get him but that is just me i do not have inside information or any think it is just my opinion, hope that i am not wrong

Our sites do feel now that we might pass on McCullers. Apparantly from the visit with Goldman yesterday and now A Taylor, thet look to be our top 2 in that position. Again it is all specualtion by our sites trying to determine who we take still at this point. A Taylor was being recruited by most as an OT. But he wants to play DT and why some believe he will end up at UA.

But our sites were also claiming we wanted McCullers and told Taylor we had to wait until we saw what the numbers were. If Taylor commit by tommorow as it is believed to UA, we will be able to determine how it affects McCullers. Because what ever interview is done with him he will say UA recruited him for. If UA takes Taylor's commitment for DT, McCullers will probably commit to UT next week. If Taylor was taken for OT, I think the staff is still trying to take McCullers.

Either way I still think UT has a good shot at DM.

He is on qts at his juco. I have some serious worries if he will be able to go thru spring practice. TW and I have discussed this before. The only thing I can think of is he enroll in some 8wk classes and internet courses so he would be enrolled during spring practice.
