No, we definitely do not want Jacobs to "just go away". We need him badly in this class.

Just as a point of information, anytime a verbally committed recruit takes a visit to another school, Rivals changes their classification to a "soft verbal" unless the recruit definitively states that he is just going for the fun of the trip.

Any player that takes visits is changed to soft verbal status...

It doesn't mean Rivals knows something that hasn't been mentioned on here...it just means the player isn't 100% firm on his commitment

This is a big weekend. We desperately need to hang on to Jacobs and pick up Autry. These two guys are very important to us being able to contend for an East title next year.

Hopefully Jacobs & Autry indeed make it here, I know a lot of times guys will say they're coming for a UOV but never show up. I'll have my fingers crossed up until Saturday, we have to get them back on campus.

Yea, that's not exactly close to Memphis, at all. That's past Columbus, MS, and I know that is a solid 2.5 hours away. It's definitely over 3 hours from Memphis. I think it is close to Tuscaloosa.

Hubbs said in the War Room that as of 11:45 last night, Jacobs and Autry were still planning on coming in for an UOV. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
