What is he projected to be ranked? I know he was a 3* on Scout and Rivals coming out of HS, but signed with Flor ST. They normally dont sign defensive players who cant play. Good addition and hopefully can help immediately.

One of the biggest reasons Jacobs chose Tennessee was because of the ability to see the field right when he stepped on campus.

"That's the biggest factor of them all for me. That's the biggest thing to me because they're almost depleted at defensive tackle so I can come right in and play and that's what I wanted," Jacobs said.

now, jacobs will be playing the part of the recruiter as he tries to help tennessee add his friend and roommate denico autry to the vols' class of 2012.

"i'll definitely be recruiting him. He liked tennessee and he loved his visit to tennessee, but he wants to take more time. He's got a lot of big-time offers so, he probably wants to take more time," jacobs offered. "he likes the fact that we know we can both play big-time football there."

At any rate, if we signed Jacobs, McCullers, Patterson, and Autry...best JUCO class ever?
