Walls has more sacks than Smith. And like I said before jac doesn't play disciplined ball within the scheme. He's not too much smaller than the LSU ends. So don't just blame it on size.

I have been impressed by Willie Bo and how easily he gets upfield on opposing Tackles.

He plays so little tho. I have some Good friends who played DL here at UT and in the NFL who Swear Willie Bohanon should be getting more playing time.

Our defensive line as a whole seems to struggle with wanting to make all the tackles. If you watch their first move is to stand up and try to look for the ball allowing the OL to get leverage and drive them out. They don't understand that it is not a good thing for them to make a tackle 9 yards down field because they got blowed off of the ball. I keep hoping that one game they will finally trust their keys and do their job and stop trying to make all the tackles. Watch LSU if their DL makes a tackle it is because they knocked their guy 3 yards into the backfield first and blew the play up. Penetration kills any offense and that is why we have such a hard time getting off of the field. Until our DL understands that their primary jobs are to get penetration and occupy blockers to allow the LB's to make plays we will continue to struggle to get off of the field.

Just says he enjoyed the visit and still has the Vols on top. Looking to come back for the Vandy game, visiting MSU the weekend after that and will be on an unofficial this week for the LSU/Bama game.

Forget Jac (who is doing fine), I don't see the problem a lot of you have with the defense period. Ray Lewis told Steve McNair during his stint with the Ravens, "Give me 17 points, and we'll never lose a game". Notice he doesn't say anything about setting the offense up deep in the opponent's territory. Twice.

I just want to win, but I'd hate to see what should be an elite passing game go to waste.

Defense wins championships...but I'm with you.

Also, if Bray and one of either Hunter or Rogers stays for their Senior year, I think we can *compete* for the SEC.

Its all about a process and the way Dooley and co. are recruiting, we're going to be back up to UT standards by (what should be) Bray's SR. year.

Yeah he has good burst off the ball. Don't know what's going on right now. He needs to play more and I want to see what J.Williams does against the good teams too.
