Love the size-speed ratio but I'm not gone lie. I don't love the guy's ball skills. In fact, IMO they are in fact lacking. Doesn't mean he won't be a fine DB but I think he's an old school DB that plays DB for a reason (lack of ball skills and hands). Yes, I saw the punt returns and kick returns and that's all well and good but tracking the ball in-flight from a thrown pass is completely different from tracking a punt or kickoff.

All I want to do is see him play some press coverage. He tackles good so I want to see if he can play in WR's face. I can deal with a bunch of breakups I'm tired of not being able to at the least blitz but once or twice a half.

What don't you like? He breaks on the ball well, tackles well for a corner, has good size, and he's fast. And he's an EE. You think he's worse than Lanier when Lanier came out?

I tested great on IQ and Wonderlic tests but I hate homework and studying. I know I'm not the only guy out there like this.

We may be brothers. I always said, why work my a$$ of for an A when I could just cruise to a B!

I hated home work or 'busy' work. Always killed the tests. I murdered (in a good sense) the ACT and GMAT and everything else in between.

Dude I took the wonderlic test for fun last year. Made a 44 on it. But I'm so average as a student it makes no sense. Lol I'll make all B's knowing I could get all A's by studying and doing homework. Hahahahahahahaha

Back to this DB though, glad we are getting him. He's exactly what we need haven't had speed like him and Gray at CB in a while.

New article up on Otis....

One school has jumped to the top of the list for Jacobs since Sherman has been fired. Tennessee has come after the 6-foot-1, 180-pound cornerback and it was all started by one of his teammates at the junior college.

"(Darrington) Sentimore told me about them. I had heard earlier from them but I committed to Texas A&M in the summer. After the coach got fired Sentimore told me about how they do stuff and it just went on from there," he said.

When asked what he'd have to see on his visit for him to sign with the Vols, he said it may not take much.

"I'm not really sure. Right now, I'm pretty sold on just what I've heard from Sentimore and Otha Peters. They've been up there and have told me a lot about it. But, for me to be sold I'd have to see the things they they've told me for myself," Jacobs said. "Pretty much, there's nothing really more that I think I should know except for the academic side of things. That would convince my mom, but as for me I'm pretty convinced. Because I've heard a lot about Tennessee.

Those are the two most telling quotes to me. Especially the one with Sentimore. That all but tells you he is a Vol as well

Both Autry and O. Jacobs will announce Vol this week...when is Sentimore announcing? Would be nice to get all three this week.

Sentimore has not set a date, but I dont think he really will. I think it will be like "yeah, I committed to tennessee a couple weeks ago" or something like that. Wont be big.

Maybe he'll just announce the same day as Jacobs, I would like that.

What is the grade situation for all four? If they project to have any potential grade issues we will not accept their commitment until it is clear they will be able to come to UT. I think some, if not all are projecting to be EE's, aren't they?
