Would love to get Pearson. He's a player in himself. I think it would help with Sheldon Day as well. Both are going to be solid DT's at the next level.

Far from being "all Vol", if you look at his Rivals profile you will see that he has a large number of schools listed as "medium" interest. We are not listed (although even Vanderbilt and KY are listed), but if you hit the "show all" button to expand the schools listed, you will find Tennessee listed with an indication of his level of interest as "none". It would seem that we have done something to aggravate this young DT, but I have not heard anything to indicate what it might be.

At the moment, it seems that we have an almost insurmountable mountain to climb here, if Rivals is correct

Rivals is never on top of the offer list at this time in the year.

Will be a tough pull for him & Day but getting them on campus for an OV this season could help.

Rivals is hardly ever accurate in that regard...

You can't base anything off of that area of the recruits page. Its not updated often and when it is, it's extrememly subjective.

on the story ryan wrote on the front page, i'm not so sure he has a vols offer. He's on a lot of college programs radars, but he has some work to do in qualifying. The offers on his profile are the ones his coach john hart at warren central recently told me, that he has been able to verify with college staffs.

I'd trust that rivals interest list about as much as I'd trust a snake to give me a kiss.

Visiting Oregon on Wed.

Will also visit Tennessee, UK, Illinois, Alabama, Florida, UNC, Vandy, VT, & Nebraska this summer. His teammate Day will come w/ him on some trips also.
