Iowa still ranked is laughable

Maybe it's just a generational thing, but seeing Notre Dame drop out of the rankings did wonders for my spirits. Then seeing TX take that header after the ridiculous rise on beating ND made it even better. But what would be best of all would be to see Tennessee playing Tennessee football again and dominating.

check out the Hi/Low column from the voters. Some voted us as high as #10 and some voted us as low as #15.

Some voters wanted to drop Wisconsin out of the rankings after their showing against GA State. The real head scratcher is at least one coach wanted to rank Louisville at #23. That's some serious hate. Does Jimbo have a vote?

Probably one coach still believing in defense who gets a vote. Somebody else who loves seeing Houstons and Louisvilles run into a real defense that makes them stumble, crumble, and fall. It's why so many of us who've been around for a while think of the Sugar Vols as the best win. There really are some of us who want to see football survive as a contest and not become the spectacle that sports like basketball and NASCAR have become.
