'12 IL OT Jordan Diamond

Your only competition each yr. is Ohio State and if mich st., penn st., or iowa is having a descent year, those 3 seem to switch up being descent each year. But your new coach is a hell of a recruiter and yall will be top tear of big ten for the next few years fo sho.

I've heard it's pretty likely he ends up at an SEC school, and it probably will not be Auburn. Very reliable source (family member), but that could change over the coming months obviously.

Sweet! According to his offer list that would mean one of the four:

Arky
Ole Miss
Vandy
Tennessee

I like our chances...

No clue. I didn't get any sense of urgency, and I think he and his teammates he's been taking with him are enjoying these trips. Unlike skeet, I cannot say as much due to my job.

Cool. If you had to guess is he going to pick UT?

Is Tennessee even a legimate factor with him? Has he scheduled his official visits yet?

We are DEFINITELY a factor with Diamond. Coach Hiestand is his lead recruiter and has connections with Diamond's HS coach.

Hope we can pull Diamond and another stud OL. Since we are only taking 2, they need to be top notch. Not sure of many OL prospects we are recruiting besides Diamond, Jelks, Hill, maybe Flint, and hopefully V. Alexander.

i don't think so. You failed to notice the Vandy offer he has. Franklin already has him as a silent I'm sure.

I did not ask about any particular schools, especially Tennessee because it's a conflict of interest for me. Just a pleasant, short conversation during an unofficial and I thought the snippet I posted was noteworthy.

Also noteworthy: AU really does have a perception problem with some recruits it would seem. Parents don't want their kids going there and not getting to play in bowl games thanks to NCAA violations.

from what i read before, he wants to play in SEC and someone said that would mean its between Arkansas, Ole Miss, Vandy and UT. I would love to have him and i would personally take him over Jelks. Both are very good players and Jelks is a TN boy

6'6 289 and he looks solid. you got to think he could grow another inch and put on some more weight. is 6'7 305-310 reasonable for what he could be going into his freshman season?
