that's awesome!!!
MZTerry,
This is so out of place in this light-hearted thread but I've been wanting to say this for a while (and today has had a 'celebratory' feel to it considering the incredible hires and the fantastic recruits in this weekend).
I'm a state prosecutor. ALL I do is domestic violence cases. It is quite depressing sometimes and I will admit makes me wonder about families these days.
Your interest and obvious support for your boy are so refreshing. I will say that even if Jason was, gasp.. a Bama commit, I would say the same thing. You are so invested in his success and future that, whether it is on the playing field or in the classroom, or as a grown adult down the road... you have so obviously instilled him with the tools to succeed that I applaud you.
I am glad that he is a VFL. I'm not sure a lot of people grasp that - it is WAY more than just throwing up gaudy stats in a sports game. It is preparing them to be a MAN. I'm a father and I will say that that is the toughest thing that I have encountered so far.
Your continued backing of Jason has given him the support he needs to go out in the world and be, well, a MAN. I hope he's a great wide receiver. I hope he helps score a ton of points and win championships for the Vols.
But more than anything, I hope I can follow his track through life and see the OTHER great accomplishments he achieves, whether they are things he can get a trophy for, or whether they are the quiet little victories that only you, he, and God will know about.
Sorry to get all sappy on volnation, but this is the kind of thing that gets me excited about our future - not just winning ball games, but about our young up and coming future adults too.
Ok, off the soapbox now...
Seriously... I'll email u tomorrow. My day planned out right now, but i welcome whomever want to meet me, as long as u not crazy... Because im not beyond cracking ur head tl the white meat... Long as u knowthat's awesome!!!

Trust me, you will not be the only obnoxious. Considering it is Tennessee vs Kentucks, and Jarnell Stokes (Big time recruit that enrolled early) could be making his debut, the whole place is going to be abnoxious.
Remember these two names: Alvin Kamara 2013 & Ben Bradley .. Dont say Mzterry didnt tell uI can't wait to be able to cheer for JC in the orange and white, not only because he is an extremely talented athlete, but also because he seems like a great young man, who judging by his mother in this thread, was definitely raised the RIGHT way! Send some more this way MZTERRY!!!
I'm happy i can make somebody's day better. i luv the kids, even when they get on the only nerve i have left.
But here's my goal... My husband and I are really young and we call ourselves the Brady Bunch color..lol
So that being said our kids are 28; 26; 22;21; 20; 19; 17 & 12 they're all doing well and i get an opportunity to really enjoy Jay because he's the youngest boy and our daughter is the last of the clan...
Same one....keep an eye on him...i told u first
