I wish i was there with yall. You know what you can't rush things i'm going to take it day by day and enjoy every bit of what is in store for us and Marquis. Time flys it just seems like yesterday he was entering high school and know he will be graduating in 2013. Where does time go? Hopefully we will all get to have fun together in years to come. VOL for life.

Bourque was sleepy...his family took a long ride to get to UT....

Otha is the sweetest kid, but yeah... he ain't one to f'k with.

This is what I like about all the recruits that were on campus this weekend.

(1) They were all big thick athletic guys
(2) Humble personalities off the field until we started talking about football and their specific positions, then they all got cocky...lol:loco:
(3) Well mannered good family backgrounds
(4) Work ethics and eagerness to come to compete at UT
(5) All of the boys had this immediate bond which makes it soooo much easier to play with when it's time to rock & roll.
(6) They all cant wait to get on campus
(7) They're all have that beastie boy attitude. "I'm gonna break ur back as soon as the ball is released"

I usually don't follow the recruiting forum as much as the general forum as I don't have alot of time on VN but I saw mentioned of MZTERRY and how she was rocking VN and the best recruiter that we have so I came over and read this ENTIRE thread and that took along time I must add, just finished it this morning, but was so worth it. MZTERRY, I want to say as a mom of an athlete, 2013, I admire the dedication and the work that you have put into your son's recruitement. Some parents leave it up to their high school coaches or others and don't realize the BEST person to get what is best for their child is their momma or their daddy. I know because I have made it a point to know everything about when, what and who that involves my son's recruitement. I hope one day my son will see his dream of this recruiting process, which is different in baseball. To see how happy Jason looks through this process has no doubt come from the process that you put in place and that is what parents needs to understand...they do have a place in this process and it is their responsibility to do it. The right way to do it is how you all have...make the decision with many discussions, visits and much prayer...I do know that I will be just as involved as you are. GBO!

thank u so much! I did exactly what you said... No way would I have left this process in the hands of a high school coach, although Jason has one that treat him like he is his son, so it made my process even easier.

I did what I thought was right for kid; and in the end it worked out exactly right.

Awesome! I'm definitely excited about seeing him play for our Vols. After watching some of his youtube highlights, I think he's going to be a match up problem for a lot of defenses. It looks like he can play inside or outside and he's even big enough to use in 2 tight end sets or as an H back for a passing option in short yardage and goal line. I couldn't believe how big he was in those pics you posted! :rock:
