'12 GA RB Mike Davis (USCe commit)

USCjr was out of it the day CJG left.

No clue if SC is truly in it or not, but Graham didn't even recruit Davis. Ward has been the guy on Davis from the start.

And fwiw SC's inside guys (ie not Kornblut) are all hearing that SC is in the picture with Davis.

So he supposedly looked at the depth charts & then eliminated us? Yea I knew that was BS right then.

I interpreted it as him narrowing it down to UGA and SC and then choosing based on their comparable depth charts.

It might have a little less to do with depth than we would like to think.

I still think we are in it, though.

Oh I think they are in the picture with few other teams. Us being one.

SC's depth isn't the greatest. An injured Lattimore and Brandon Wilds. Can anyone name someone else in their rotation?

Yea definitely. Seems like at this point picking a school out of a hat would be as good as any guess on what Davis will do.

My point in that post was that most people with at least some connection to Davis feel that SC is still one of the schools he's considering. And even if SC is out of it, it's not because of CJG leaving.

Davis has said he already has his mind made up which school he will pick. I think he probably has already visited the school which he plans to attend and I think playing time is attractive here. IDK that we get him but I like our chances.

SC's depth chart for next year looks like it will be Lattimore, Wilds, Carson, and potentially Kenny Miles returning.

Lattimore and Carson will both be coming off of ACL surgery this season and may or not be 100% going into the year or even during the year. SC has 1 RB commit but he also just had ACL surgery and may be looking at a gray shirt.

So it looks like best case scenario will be 2 healthy backs to start the season. Definitely a big opportunity for Davis to see early pt.

You're insane. I'd take him over Marshall and definitely over Bourque.

I don't know if marshalls worthy of 5*, but he has some of the sharpest cuts ive ever seen in a high school back.. Not the hardest to bring down after u get pads on him though.. Reminds me of ealey from uga.

What you talking bout Willis? Still way better than UT's. We have Lane, an unproven Smith, MAYBE Neal, and a few incoming freshmen.
