I think it has more to do with Dooley showing him tape and realizing that he could get 20+ carries a game as a freshman.

imo you have to take both. if spots run out and become an issue later you can encourage someone else to look elsewhere. those two are high enough quality athletes that you don't turn them down.

Very true, but the whole Pender thing made me cynical I guess. Which is not to say that we should necessarily give up on him either, but seems more and more like it was diplomatic in nature rather than sincere. Could be wrong. Hope I am.

I can understand the cynicism. As a matter of fact, Vol fans nature should be that with all we have had to endure. However, his comments vs. Pender's look different to me. I don't know what happened with UF, but he didn't sound too found of something they did to him.

Doesnt look like he has the best top end speed to me..strong, and pretty well balanced though

Baggett was his lead recruiter, now it's Chaney.

Also, Mikes brother James almost came to Tennessee. We finished 2nd for him, he really liked it here.

Maybe the Clemson connection will play in our favor for the 2nd straight signing day. First Lane, now a clemson alum's brother? One could hope.

I'm not 100% certain, but I would have to say no. All the gators keep talking about holding onto him until national signing day in previous posts.
