I have to agree with this. I really like the way this kid is handling his business. IMO Jenkins is a bug when its all said and done, UF will come in second place. Its still a long way to go and things can change quickly.

The Rivals.com top 100 player plans to make a decision towards signing day. He has made a top six in no order of Tennessee, Alabama,Auburn, Geogia Tech, Florida, and Georgia.

Dream Team 2 is so unoriginal:lolabove: Basically Richts second gimik to keep boosters from running his underachieving butt out of Athens. Pure comedy if you thank about it...he should have saved face and stopped with a good recruiting class with the original dream team gimik. Now its just silly and the ratings should be like every other movie sequel and fail at the box office....what a joke.

You guys do realize that Richt does not call this "Dream Team 2" or anything, right? That is the media (AJC mainly) and message boards doing that dumb $hit. :hi:

Why did he talk about it in his post signing day press conference then? I agree with it being dumb and it may well be the media. He had no problem taking credit for it though....

The Dream Team yeah he did do that last year, but he isn't calling this year Dream Team 2. He was playing around post-NSD with the media guys, but he isn't calling it that to recruits or to the media in seriousness.

It is just people playing around when you do hear it. Dream Team lacked enough originality, can't do a part 2 of it, lol. If they do come out actually seriously calling it that, someone needs to get slapped. :)

That makes sense and I cant argue with that. One of my UGA buddies is always dropping Dream Team 2 like its some kind of brilliant thing. Richt has a little more sense than I thought then:) With this being said TN relies heavily and GA prospects as well and both fan bases can agree on the fact that Saban is pretty much cherry picking the state right now...

The Dream Team "gimmick" was one of the best recruiting tools I have seen. Think about AU and their "Big Cat Weekend" or whatever its called. Sure it sounds dumb but it works, and that's all that matters.

Richt and his staff put it out there last year that UGA wanted the top recruits in the state. They also kept repeating how important that was to get UGA back on top. The message worked. UGA landed just about all of the top 10 players in the state despite having a losing record. Auburns gimmick worked 2 years ago as well.

Say what you want but it works. It sounds like Mr. Dooley needs to come up with his own little "gimmick" to get elite players to K-ville.

We have no elite players? Da'Freak Rogers, Justin Hunter, Arnett. You guys can't get a receiver that can break press coverage. Marlon Brown still can't break the coverage his grandmother has on him.
