I didn't see a thread on him.

Wide Receiver
Jacksonville, FL
First Coast
Ht: 5'11"
Wt: 160 lbs (Rivals); 175 lbs (Scout)
40: 4.4 (Scout)

I know there is a large disparity between Scout's and Rival's weight. Maybe one of you from FL could explain his current situation.

TOS reports he has an offer from UT. Supposedly one of the top wide-outs in the state.

I doubt that he'll be rated as an athelete. Miami Herald amd Gainesville Sun have him as the #2 WR for 2012 behind Peterson. He's up over 170 now also. Great hands, concentration and good moves in space. Coast sends a lot of players to FSU and he's been there a few times.

...? Not sure if serious. I hope you know what that means.

not laughing at you if thats what scout says..I always took 'projects as' as meaning where someone will play at the next level. Since there are no positions on a football field specifically called 'athlete' to say someone projects as one is stupid. Just semantics I guess...

He has stated that he also enjoys playing defense and wants to play both ways ....offense and defense in college....that by definition is an athlete.....and projects as an athlete who plays both WR and DB.

Doesn't really matter to me what he says. There are guys like J Wade and M Teague that played both wr and db, but never at the same time. Still doesn't make sense to me but whatever

Kid is not playing any sort of DB on the next level. Coaches will tell him whatever he needs to hear to get him on campus, but once he gets there he'll face reality.

Bama just pulled ahead FSU... Close between those two and Clemson and maybe UF as a distant third. UF's only shot is if he comes to the spring game, and we need to make a huge impression to get back into this game.

He said he was returning for UAs spring game so far.

I agree. The only players from First Coast that ever went to UF is Reggie Lewis and Kenneth Tookes. First Coast is a pipeline to F$U.
Ryan Stamper was the only Top 250 guy that UF has gotten from FC during the ranking era but we had some solid kids that came thru during SOS days.....this is a Bama and FSU battle with most of the Fl recruiting guys giving the early nod to Bama atp....long way to NSD but two horse race so far.

FC to FSU history aside. No longer a mid-pack ACC team, I anticipate FSU to make big strides in 2011. FSU
Kickin' a** & takin' names.

problem for FSU is this class will small... with 7 commtis already they are look at 22-23 so they better gets some players to leave during summer or guys to jump to NFL next year....imo problem with taking guys like Barron,Bell and a few other it hurts in stacked year like 2012....Jimbo got his second yr bump in '11...by the looks of early recruiting that UF and Canes look to have that benefit this cycle.
