Just talked to Brandon Helwig, who covers UCF for Rivals and was at the announcement. He said Howard talked a lot about how Tennessee would use him in their offense, whether it be in the wildcat, in the backfield or in the slot.

We're going to have video of the whole thing later today. Just wanted to keep you guys updated on our coverage.

I watched some highlight video of this guy, and I honestly thought it was on fast forward for a minute. This kid has mercurial speed.

It looks like his HS team had him running a lot of jet sweeps. I wonder if we'll have a package for that next season.

"I couldn't go wrong with my decision," Howard said. "I had a strong connection with UCF since my sophomore year. My family was here so I had nothing to lose by picking UCF. With Tennessee, it was about the connection I had with the program. They recruited me hard and showed how bad they wanted me. They were loyal to me and they stood by me every step of the way. That is why I chose Tennessee"

Great p/u!

Welcome to Tennessee, Pig.

"I was more comfortable in Knoxville...the people at Tennessee and the family atmosphere. Tennessee was the only school that made me feel at home on my visits," Howard said.

"I hope to be a mid-term enrollee in January."

Howard is faster than dy plus he has the ability to make people miss.

Actually Howards personal best in the 100 is 11.02. He specializes in the long jump with apersonal best of 23'6.5". DY ran a 10.70 personal best. The great thing about Pig is his xploson to do the long jump at his height. Justin Hunters personal best in high school is 25' 7.5" .
