One of those offers is from Tennessee, a program that's been after him since the infancy of his recruitment. Lately the Vols are starting to turn up the heat on him ever more.

"Yea, they are recruiting me a lot harder. At first they weren't recruiting me as much as schools like Cincinnati and South Carolina, but I have heard from them a lot lately and for them to come and see me play says a lot about how much they want me," Howard said.

Howard will make it to Tennessee for an official visit the weekend of the Georgia game and he said he's been impressed with what he's learned about Tennessee's program thus far in the process. "For one, they're in the SEC. They've got nice facilities. They play in front of 100,000 and they play in a great stadium and a great atmosphere. They've got a good program. They're really recruiting me right now and that was the first letter I ever got in recruiting," Howard said what he finds appealing about the program.

Also pointed out his close relationship with Tom Smith.

What really sells me on this guy is when you watch the video, just watch how he runs. It's just running all out with a purpose. Not to mention, he makes some outstanding catches. We need this guy.

Hunter, Rogers, Z. Rogers, Arnett, Milton, Dallas, Patterson, Croom, Howard should be illegal, plus Rivera and Clear at TE.

if we get him dont be surprised when he lines up all over the field for us. Kid runs like a halfback and catches like a wideout.

I wouldn't be surprised especially after Dooley saw what Rainey did to us. He'll fit right in that Mold of Rainey/Harvin type of ball players. Just get them the ball and get out of the way.

U beat me to it..I think the uf game does have something to do with CDD pressing harder for pig..he's seen first hand what kind of weapon these little burners can be..he has crazy football speed like rainey and a spin move like Hardesty...dudes nasty in his highlights, and I'm sure he's playing against some fast, talented kids too.

If it took Rainey running wild on Tennessee to get Dooley to want elite speed, fire him now.

And Bowles.

Taking a big WR class, will someone more to db? Or are get just getting solid depth at WR?

Pretty sure we are just getting depth. Just look at who we are having to start at WR (Rogers). We must have better then that outside. Arnett and Dallas are slot WRs so they dont need to be out there. I just bet that we see alot of 3 wr sets.

I think we are in on this one for sure. Our receiving corps really are starting to take form of WR-U again. Especially if this kid signs and if we get Patterson. Dangerous receiving class on the way! Terry Joesph is drooling.

Why would the d-backs coach be drooling over receivers? :)

He probably meant Baggett, but I am sure he is still excited to not have to gameplan against these guys, and to have them go up against his db's every day in practice.
