Maybe the rumor of Diggs and Pender to UT is true? The fact they're teammates and there's some smoke makes it seem more likely, IMO. If Diggs picks UT tomorrow I think our chances of Pender increases quite a bit.

CTJ needs to stay put on this staff, even if all that he does is recruiting coordinator. According to Momma Croom, he is a big reason why Jason is a VFL. She said that if he left the staff, then there would be major issues with Jason coming to UT. The recruits and their families absolutely LOVE CTJ. He makes his keep easily by what he does on the recruiting trail. He loves the kids, and it makes parents feel comfortable knowing that he will take care of their kids.

Skeeter, please tell me that Lance is being retained as DL coach or being moved back to LB coach. I don't think that people appreciate how good of a coach and how great of a recruiter he is. He deserves a raise because of this and because of his loyalty to UT.

Joseph will certainly be retained on the staff, but not necessarily as secondary coach. I suspect that Shannon will have demanded the ability to choose his own assistants (with approval by Dooley and Hart) and that is a demand that we would not argue with. That being the case, I could easily see Shannon wanting his own man in charge of the secondary after two years of little improvement back there. If so, Joseph will likely move to ST.

Lance did an excellent job last year and has an excellent reputation both as a coach and as a recruiter. I would expect him to be retained but he might switch positions if, for instance, Shannon does not bring in Barrow but does have someone in mind for the D-line.

I think he would pair well with McNeil. He's a lot better than Pat Martin. Don't know why some are comparing the two. Don't know why we start bashing a good player either. He's a tweener and all this other nonsense. He's damn good football player on the field that's what he is.

His senior film is MUCH better than his junior film. Looks more like a four star safety and less like a three star linebacker playing safety.
