I'll give Worley this, he showed confidence in the pocket. Just made poor reads and was over anxious at times. All signs of a true freshman who hadn't got enough reps.

The ball DaRick dropped against USCjr was thrown VERY well. Who knows what that catch and TD would have done for the young man's confidence.

I agree - should not sell Worley short. He's going to be a good one. Just needs more game experience and to find the WR's that click with him.

But according to some posters Da'rick didn't have many drops, much less critical ones. lol.

I'll give you Bray and Peterman but i'm still not sold on Worley. Not that impressive this season, even for a freshman. I wouldn't be surprised if Peterman ends up being the heir to Bray.

Worley was supposed to RS. I believe they really thought that Simms could be serviceable if Bray got hurt. After Simms stank so badly, Worley got a shot... but not a real chance.

The knock on him is arm strength. He showed he had plenty. He's a smart guy who needed a year of development... and if Simms weren't absolutely horrible he would have gotten it.

That said, it will be a good battle between those guys and possibly whoever UT pulls next year if the season goes well. I am very excited about Peterman's ability.

Worley shows flashes of brillance which is what you expect from a true freshman QB. If Rogers makes catch on the perfect ball from Worley we beat USC. fwiw

Throw Worley in the USCjr for his first reps. Couldn't expect him to go all Manning and rip them apart. I believe that he will turn into a great QB, and with Peterman we just re-stocked. Love these problems as stated above, too many good ones to play them all.

I checked a few pages and couldn't find anything. Any highlights from the O-D game?

I was able to record the game. I'll see if I can find some time before the weekend to put together some highlights and post a link for you all.

The last drive of the game was amazing! If they would have had any timeouts left I believe Peterman would have brought them back for the win!

IMO, Peterman looks lightyears more like a guy who will take over the team than Worley has ever looked. I expect Peterman to take over the job when Bray moves on.

In July of 2011, I wrote an article on the top quarterbacks in the state of Florida and mentioned Bartram Trail's Nathan Peterman as the one to watch out for this season. Peterman proved me right and finished the year as our top quarterback for this class. He led the Bears to a 12 - 2 record, while throwing for 2,932 yards, 35 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. Peterman put up terrific numbers all year long and led his team deep in the playoffs, before losing to Armwood. For his efforts on the year, the University of Tennessee commitment earned 6A Player of the Year and a 4-star ranking on Rivals.com.

As promised - I apologize ahead of time for the quality... DVR to VHS to DVD to MPEG is an amazing formula for HD,... not.

Anyways, he rotated time between 2 other QBs so there wasn't a ton of material for highlights.

Regardless, enjoy!
