It was not his best game, by far. Missing one of his starting WRs and RB didn't help the cause.

Nate knew he didn't play well and was quoted in an article, "If anything, I kept putting them in horrible situations and they kept bailing me out".

But even though he didn't have his best game he still almost brought them back for the win.

He has the tools, I think he'll do just fine.

Thanks dep. maybe we'll see ya in Knoxville in sept in the next few yrs. you think you' ll come up for tenn-fl to see Nate play ?

If so I hope it's a longer trip down than up. No offense. :)

For those that have seen Nate play (Dep, Jay, ect) how would you compair him to running wise? And how will that translate at the next level? I love a QB that can run.

He can run, but don't think you are getting a QB that is going to run for big yardage every game. He'll take a hit and throw it rather than run.

He can scramble and make yardage and he isn't afraid to lower his shoulder on someone. He's tough to bring down.

What do you think Jay?

None taken..LOL.

I'd love to come up to see Nate play. I think I'll come up when ya'll aren't playing Florida though, so I wont have mixed feelings...LOL.

Always wanted to see Neyland.

As long as he can make plays happen and extend plays with his feet a la a
Jorda-- oh excuse me Aaron Rodgers. I am originally from Nashville area. They seem to get those two confused around there. :)

Tis a good place. The best. ;)

I went to the swamp in 2007. 59-21. Yuck. And it was so hot! Kept drinking gatorade but my legs were still wobbly walking down the stairs from sweating so much in the heat.

Really loves this kids attitude. Seems like a great leader and hope and believe he can be a great QB for us. Hopefully he and Worley push Bray to step up his game and learn all phases of being a QB. And that includes leadership on and off the field. I know alot of people didn't like Casey Clausen but he did it the right way, was a warrior and played with tons of heart. One of my favorite all time Vol QBs.

Have been to all the sec stadiums except LSU and S Car. And soon to be the 2 new guys.

FL and Ark prob had the worst fans in the ones that interacted with me. You seem awesome though. Haha

All depends on who you run into and who you sit close to. I know we have our bad ones too (hello football forum )

I roasted in that stadium for years. Always hated the 12:30 starts in September. Miserable!

I am very impressed with his footwork and athleticism. He looks like he glides around and stays balanced. I'm glad he's a vol.

I have said it many time already in this thread this kid is going to good for the VOLS in the future. He's got the arm and can use his legs to extend a play or move the chains.

Don't know why. Jordan is an average QB, at best. Those fools (candy fans) take the littlest improvements, & act like they have done something. They sicken me.

Glad this is our QB this class. Would much rather have him than Kiel.

Looks like he has all the tools. Agree that his footwork is excellent. Always has the ball in positino and his eyes downfield, too. Excited to see him develop. Hope he grows an inch or two.
