Thank you Vollygirl, I appreciate that.

How about just calling me Dep, that's what they do on most forums I'm on.

I see what you mean about the damn thing. Don't know why it didn't dawn on me before.

Good luck this week, and I'll be back Saturday morning with another Peterman update.

Dep

It really didn't dawn on you before?

Nope Big Papa, was just thinking of a way to shorten GatorDeputy. Hey, I'm old give me a break..LOL. I don't use the term that damn usually stands for,

It will be Dep from now on.

Dep <---see :)

That'll work Dep.

And don't mind BPV. He's old too. That's his high school pic in his avatar. We're proud of him for being able to work the computer.

Bartram Trail leads 27-13 at halftime. Peterman is 15-24 for 228 yards and 2 TD, along with a rushing TD.

From what I've read, Peterman must be a real threat to tuck the ball and run. Been awhile since we've had a QB like that. Tee Martin could, but didn't do it that much, drop back passer mostly. Really have to go back to Heath Shuler.

Bartram Trail beat Ponte Vedra 55-26 last night.

Nate went 18 of 27 for 272 yards and 4 TD passes. He also ran for another score. Again, he had a TD pass called back on a penalty. The starters scored on every drive they were in for. Nate has 7 TD passes in his 2 regular season games. The good thing is he has NO interceptions.

The starters were pulled early in the 4th quarter, and Nate still hasn't played a complete game.

Bartram beat a pretty good team in Ponte Vedra. They are a front runner to win their conference.

You folks are getting a good one!

Nate's 2 regular season game total is 31 of 50 for 426 yards and 7 TD passes. He also has 1 rushing TD. He also has not thrown an interception, and has not played a complete game yet, due to the starters being taken out because of lopsided scores. I don't have his rushing stats handy.

Nate would rather throw the ball, but he can tuck it and run if needed. On one series, Coach Sutherland had him keep the ball on a 4th down run and he got the first down.

He is a kid that doesn't get rattled and is a leader of the team.

Ya'll are getting a good one.

Thanks Dep. Will you make it to a game in Neyland if he starts for us one day?

Dep, I know Florida fans, I've worked with Florida fans and I have lived surounded my multitudes of Florida fans. You sir are no Florida fan.:) JK

Vollygirl, I would love to go to a game at Neyland some day. I plan on retiring in about 2 years, hopefully Nate will be starting then and maybe I can come up.

Mr.McGill, there has to be exceptions to every rule right?

I hope ya'll are enjoying the weekly Nate updates, I know I enjoy giving them. He is such a great kid.

Good luck today!

In UF fans with class... very few. As a matter of fact you are one of the two I have ever encountered.:hi: In fact you kinda make me suspicious, like Waco.:)

Well, I have no idea who Waco is so I don't know if that is a good thing or bad.

Feel free to call me on it if I'm ever disrespectful. Heck, these forums belong the the Vols, I'm just a guest in ya'll house. :)

Good luck today!

I really enjoy reading updates like these on all our recruits but to hear them from opposing team fans is even better. Keep'em coming DEP!!!

Actually Tim, Nate has two great wide outs he throws to and both have offers to division 1 schools.

Jared Crump's stats were (2010) 34 receptions, 683 yards, 11 td’s, avg. 20 yards/catch. He caught a touchdown every third catch. I don't have this years stats handy but he has 5 TDs already in their first 2 games. He had 5 catches for 79yds and 3 TDs last Friday night.
He is about 6'3 and around 190 lbs. He has great leaping ability and I've seem him make catches that I didn't think were possible.

Bobby Walker isn't as flashy as Jared but he has great hands and knows what to do with the ball after the catch. They have recently started letting him return punts and he had over 100 yards in returns last Friday night. He is about 6ft , 180 lbs.

Both of these guys have offers from Div 1 schools and more coming in all the time.
