I just did a search on his name to see what the reporters are saying and its really nothing groundbreaking or not covered here but his did come up and hes already talking about the UT Florida game lol.

I was told that he has been cleared by UT admissions but is going home to discuss with his family, and his step-dad is making a final plea with UM. Time will tell.

I think thunder said it would put us 12th in the enrolled rankings. Good for about 4th in the SEC.

Phillips and his family have been in constant contact with Tennessee since he left yesterday and we're hearing the parents have signed off on him coming to Tennessee. From all accounts, Phillips wants to be at Tennessee.

But, he's not been admitted to Tennessee yet and it may several days before anything happens there.

If there are no hangups in the admissions process we believe he will be a Vol.
